Devanagari Unicode Glyphs

Standard Devanagari encoding contains character ranges for consonants, vowels, halanta marks, and numeric digits. This guide covers how these characters combine to form syllables on digital screens.

How Characters Combine

When you type a consonant followed by a halanta (्) and another consonant, the system rendering engine joins them visually into a single conjunct glyph (like त् + त -> त्त). This allows standard Nepali Unicode to render complex text natively on all browsers.
